Registered Nurse (RN) - Midland, Michigan (Temp)

Job Description

• Provide skilled nursing care for ambulatory surgery patients with knowledge of operative procedures.
• Regularly assess patient needs and deliver nursing services as prescribed by physician plans of care.
• Direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, and call lights.
• Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness and collaborate with team members to update or revise plans.
• Process and follow up on physician orders accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of RN experience (highest required).
  • Pre/Post Op experience required.
  • PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience required.
• Certifications:

  • Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Licenses:

  • Active Michigan RN license.
• Skills & Documentation:

  • Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to PACU.
  • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Preferred:

  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Other:

  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius (local candidates not considered).
  • All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; no changes allowed after offer.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
