Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides nursing care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients.
• Traveler must self-study telemetry strips before start and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of assignment to work on the telemetry/med-surg unit.
• May be asked to float to another campus.
• May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• CPI/MOAB
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic
