Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work every 3rd weekend
• Call based on department needs; weekend coverage of 1st shift until arrival
• 1 holiday required
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners required
• Experience with EPIC system preferred

Required Qualifications

• License: Wisconsin Radiographer license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ARRT CT certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience (highest required)
  • Prior travel experience required (must have completed prior travel roles)
• Competencies:

  • Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics (completed within 1 year of start, updated every 3 years)
  • Ascension Specialty Exam (completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% passing score, max 2 attempts)
  • Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, completed within 1 year of start, updated annually)
• Health & Safety Requirements:

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
  • Fit Test: Required annually; preferred prior to start
  • Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
  • TB Screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within 1 year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or two vaccine doses; no declinations accepted
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
  • 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
  • Health Statement: Completed physical exam or statement of good health prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Background & Verification:

  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days of assignment
  • Employment verification for past 7 years
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
  • Professional references: at least two prior to first assignment
• Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must not be expired and address must match home state for compact license)
  • Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation completed prior to assignment
  • Badge photo with white or blue background, no alterations
