Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

Requires 2 years of experience in medical/surgical or telemetry nursing.
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Prior travel experience is required.
May need to float within skill set to other sites within a 40-mile radius as needed.
Schedule includes NIH (Night In-House), every other weekend (EOW), and every other holiday (EOH).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Additional Information

Some optional onboarding documents may be required by unit leadership.
All exams and competencies require a maximum of two attempts to pass.
Floating assignments may occur within the nurse’s skill set and geographic radius.
Compliance with all onboarding and credentialing requirements is mandatory prior to start.

This position is ideal for experienced medical/surgical RNs with prior travel nursing experience who are comfortable working night shifts and adapting to floating assignments within a defined area.
