Occupational Therapist I, Inpatient
Overview
- Acute care inpatient role with a primary team/service area
- 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday
- Occasional weekend coverage may be needed
- Patient care is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercises
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes
- Attend staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities
Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years of experience preferred
Onboarding / Compliance
- Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification
- Fit test and respirator medical clearance attestation required if fit testing is needed for the role
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity required
- TB test documentation required
- Health statement required
- Criminal background check required
