Overview

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, evenings, or nights; every other weekend
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating required: Yes, primarily to medical/surgical units
• Rotation: Day positions may rotate between multiple day/night schedules when needed

Specialty Experience

• 2+ years of adult ICU experience
• 2+ years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably in a MICU
• Continuous MICU experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ability to read telemetry strips

Unit Details

• 20-bed medical/surgical ICU
• Level III trauma center
• Adult patient population
• RN-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:2 with high acuity; 1:4 to 1:5 when floated
