Overview

• Role: M/S Tele RN
• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: Nights, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required
• Unit: Davenport 5 - Surgical Stepdown Unit
• Unit description: Two Med/Surgical Units, including one 15-bed unit and one 8-bed Surgical Stepdown Unit
• Bed count: 23

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Ability to read telemetry strips
• Experience with chest tube management
• Experience with NG tubes
• Experience with epidural management
• Experience with capnography

Preferred Qualifications

• Management of arterial lines
• Management of neo-synephrine

Patient Population

• Post-operative patients from General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma surgeries

Additional Notes

• Free on-site parking
• Patient ratios: 6-10 patients per PCA, 3-5 patients per RN, and 2-3 per RN for stepdown ratios
