Job Description

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit Test
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or approved declination/exemption (valid through October 2026; declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• Influenza Vaccine: Optional but recommended (proof or declination accepted except in CA or IL)
• MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or immunity titer
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or immunity titer
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening (with chest x-ray if positive, per regional requirements)
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation of fitness to work within the last year
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days of start, no THC included
• Tdap vaccine: Current and non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Signed Code of Conduct form
• Completed I9 form
• Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
• Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
• Non-Employee Upload Form (specific pages required)
• Specialty Specific Competency Testing (completed within the last year)
• Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start)
• Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma verified)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and state-specific checks for MI
• System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
• Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (required for Iowa)
• Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check within 30 days prior to start)
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days

Additional Notes

• All certifications and licenses must be uploaded as scanned copies with expiration dates visible, including front and back of cards where applicable.
• Specialty competency exam and skills checklist must be current (within one year).
• Drug screen must be completed and resulted before start date with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature.
• Declinations for vaccines require agency letterhead documentation where applicable.
• Physical and health documentation must confirm candidate is fit to work.

This position requires a highly compliant and credentialed RN with Labor and Delivery specialty experience, ready for a night shift long-term assignment in Iowa.
