Location: Maywood, Illinois

Job Details

Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend
Hours: 36 hours per week
Specialty Experience Required: NICU/PICU experience
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist credential)

Required Credentials & Compliance

Current and valid professional license verification
Fit Test
Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (includes multiple substances, no THC)
COVID-19 Vaccine (booster required, no declination accepted in IL)
MMR vaccination or immunity proof
Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
Influenza vaccine (seasonal, no declination accepted in IL)
Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening

Pros

Some of the staff are nice and helpful. Pretty big department.

Cons

Assignments can be heavy, got told I would be Neo/Peds, but I get floated everywhere (adults floors/ICU). Have to pay to park ($2/day) in further garage or $5 in closer garage. And the worst is 8hr assignments!
