Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week (EOW)
- Required Credentials: CRT or RRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Required Certifications and Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) for certain units (e.g., CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU)
- Current state license/certification verification (dated within 30 days of start)
Required Health and Safety Compliance
- Fit Test
- Respirator Evaluation with physician signature
- COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster or approved exemption)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity proof
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of initiation required before start)
- Influenza Vaccine (proof or approved exemption)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test for TB screening
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
- 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start)
