Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Registered)
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 2 months
Job Description
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with pediatric experience to work in areas including ED, NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics care. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Certifications:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Work Schedule & Other Details
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- 12-hour rotating shifts
- Includes every other weekend and holidays
- Call requirement to be discussed during the interview
Additional Notes
- Must be willing to work with vented patients
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
