Vascular Rad Tech

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term (13 weeks)
Shift/Hours:

  • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shift)
  • Monday-Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Expected hours: 40 per week

Job Description

  • Perform approximately 8-10 vascular ultrasound cases per day
  • Experience required with:
    • Carotid duplex
    • Venous duplex (upper and lower extremity)
    • Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)
    • Toe-Brachial Index (TBI)
    • Arterial imaging (upper and lower extremity)
    • Vein mapping
    • Dialysis access imaging
    • Peripheral Segmental Arterial (PSA) studies
  • Most common equipment used: Philips ultrasound machines and Parks Segmental Arterial Machine
  • Work setting: Inpatient Vascular Lab
  • Dress code: dark gray scrubs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, with recent experience within the last year
  • ARDMS or CCI certification
  • RVT or RVS credential
  • BLS certification

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
  • No on-call required
  • Quicker start available
