ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Antigo, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• Start date: 9/28/2026
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every weekend
• Every other holiday, as applicable
• May be floated internally to similar units
• May occasionally take med/surg patients if there are no NICU patients and med/surg census is high
• May float to other locations in Merrill, Medford, Stanley, and Wausau
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours

Unit Details

• ICU with 2 beds and potential for 2 flex beds
• Typical staffing is 1 ICU RN per shift
• Unit functions more like a step-down unit with occasional ventilator patients

Additional Notes

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Scrubs are provided, but personal scrubs may also be worn
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
