Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience in LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
• Perform and document comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Develop and revise plans of care based on patient needs and responses
• Administer medications and perform procedures within scope of practice
• Communicate patient condition changes and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Support discharge planning and patient teaching
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities
• Mentor staff and nursing students, and help orient new staff
