Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Job Summary
- Staff RN responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame
- Provides care using the nursing process and coordinates with the healthcare team
- Completes admission assessment, develops a plan of care, implements interventions, and updates the plan based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation
- Addresses patient and employee safety concerns
- Supports peer development through constructive feedback and collaboration
