- 1st shift
- 32 hours per week
- 8 hours per day
- Includes rotating Saturdays, holidays, and call coverage
- Variable shifts and emergent call coverage as scheduled
Contract Length
14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Vascular Sonographer (1 year of experience)
- Vascular Sonographer experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARDMS
- ARDMS (AB)
- ARDMS (OB)
- ARDMS (VT)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience
Experience
- Current clinical experience preferred
- Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry accepted
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams across OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, breast, vascular, OR, and procedure areas
- Produce and label high-quality images
- Review physician orders and patient history before exams
- Assist with interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic ultrasound-guided procedures
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and answer questions
- Transfer and position patients before and after imaging
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
- Follow infection control and sterile technique practices
- Document and hand off required clinical information and specimens
- Support scheduling, coordination, and communication with other care teams
