Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Provide in-home speech-language pathology services to assist clients with communication deficits under general supervision.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of speech pathology experience in a healthcare setting
  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certifications/Licensure:
    • Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology
    • Current State of Michigan driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Other Requirements:
    • Reliable transportation and telephone
    • Sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet job demands
    • Knowledge of normal communication processes, development, and disorders to evaluate clients and implement approved treatment techniques
