Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks according to state Board of Nursing standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
Provide health teaching and counseling.
Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
Execute delegated medical functions.
Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize resources effectively.
May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with recent PCU experience within the last year
Experience in Orthopedics
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
