Physical Therapist (Outpatient) - Travel Contract

Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services in a hospital setting.
• Treat approximately 9-11 patients per day (average 10).
• Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, total joint replacements, vestibular issues, neurological conditions, and balance difficulties.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a required 30-minute lunch break.
• Floor-specific orientation provided (1-2 days).
• Use Cerner EMR system.
• Work alongside 2 Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs); no Rehab Aides or Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) on site.
• No weekend shifts required.
• Professional attire required; no specific scrub color.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
