Job Summary
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in diagnostic radiology for a busy, large hospital setting. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma center and a teaching hospital with a focus on tertiary care, including lung, liver, and kidney transplants, and is associated with a top neuro institute.
Required Qualifications
- License: Arizona Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) license required
- Certifications: ARRT and BLS certification required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of core experience in diagnostic radiology specialty
- Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience required
- Experience in ED/Trauma, portable X-rays, and OR settings preferred
- EMR: Cerner EMR experience required (especially for ED)
- Other Requirements:
- Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance (max 2 attempts) for certain units including ED, ICU, Cath Lab, and others; failure results in 6-month disqualification within the region
- No facial piercings and only natural hair colors allowed
- Must have own vehicle for travel teams
- Must be off CommonSpirit permanent staff for 12 months to be eligible for travel assignment
- Cannot hold two contracts simultaneously with this employer
Work Schedule & Environment
- Typical shifts: Sunday through Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Parking provided with shuttle service to the facility
- Scrub color: Teal
- Weekly orientations on Mondays (except holidays)
Additional Notes
- Facility will not consider contracts shorter than 13 weeks
- Candidates must complete onboarding by 1 PM CST Wednesday before start date; incomplete files will delay start
- Candidates may work with nursing students as part of the teaching hospital environment

Private doctor group, older staff, I really enjoyed it, really can’t beat the 12 Hour shifts. Team is set up with two nurses two techs. On tech pans the other scrubs and flips per case. One nurse will monitor the other circulate and that flips per case.
