Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Velva, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an RN traveler for a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility. The role involves working with patients primarily diagnosed with dementia/memory loss, wound care needs, IV therapy, and rehabilitation therapy.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in North Dakota
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Long Term Care (LTC), including experience within the last year
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience in charge nurse roles
• Experience with PointClickCare electronic medical records (EMR) system

Facility Information

• Facility size: 46 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 nurse to 46 patients, supported by a Medication Aide
• Common patient diagnoses: Dementia, memory loss, wound care, IV therapy, therapy services

Additional Notes

• No on-call or call-back required or billable
• Weekend and holiday coverage every other week
• Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice may incur a fee
