Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)
  • ACLS & PALS (preferred)
• Education: Associate's degree and RN certification required
• Additional:

  • Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
  • Must be able to evaluate patients, plan and document nursing care, assist physicians, perform patient tests, and administer medications within RN scope of practice
  • Ability to promote patient independence through education and care planning
  • Must be comfortable with a wide degree of creativity and latitude in daily tasks
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department
