Emergency Department RN

Overview

• 13-week contract
• Salem, Massachusetts
• 36-hour nights with every other weekend
• Free on-site parking
• 65-bed Emergency Department with a pod-based layout, separate pediatric pod, and separate Acute Mental Health area
• Patient population: all
• Clinician-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• Census: 230 visits/day
• Floating required to the ED Observation wing (16 beds) and AMU (ED Psych OBs)
• Rotating day shifts may be requested; night position does not rotate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or CHSF or Military
• TNCC
