MRI Technician Job Opportunity

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with possible on-call

Job Requirements

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)

Required Qualifications & Documentation

• Professional license/certification primary source verification within 30 days of start date (no conditional licenses accepted)
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Criminal background check, including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender check, and exclusion checks (updated as required)
• Education verification of highest level achieved (except CNA positions)
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
• Fit test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, with required medical clearance attestation
• Color vision test within 365 days of start date

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Optional but strongly preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity
• Optional: Tdap vaccine within 10 years, updated upon expiration
• If positive TB test, documentation of negative chest x-ray required
