Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Assignment Details

• 12-week assignment
• Schedule: 4x10 hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Local travelers will not be considered

Required Licenses and Certifications

• New Hampshire Imaging Tech License
• ARRT MRI Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: MRI Technician

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred (3 doses or proof of immunity or declination)
• Tdap vaccine preferred within last 10 years

Background and Professional Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually
• New Hampshire state-specific criminal background and BEAS record checks within 30 days prior to start, updated if >30 day break
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Two recent professional references required (minimum one supervisor or above)

• Candidate submission coversheet
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for extensions

Notes

• Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start date
• No fit testing can be done onsite; must be completed prior to assignment
• No religious or medical exemptions for vaccines or fit testing
• Assignment is at a main campus facility in Dover, NH

This position is suitable for MRI Technicians who meet the licensing and certification requirements and are available for a 12-week evening shift assignment in New Hampshire. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
