Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, variable day shifts, no overnight call
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Required Credentials & Certifications

  • ARRT Certification (required before onboarding)
  • Professional License: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
  • Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually; no religious exemptions
  • MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof: Two doses each of measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines or proof of immunity via blood test
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions allowed
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if >6 month break
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if >6 month break
  • Criminal Background Checks:
    • Massachusetts CORI (within 30 days prior to start)
    • National Sex Offender Registry (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
    • Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid lists; within 30 days prior to start and annually)
  • Resume: Past 7 years of work experience including city & state (required for submission)
  • References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in relevant skillset (required for submission)
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission
  • Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission

Additional Preferred/Optional Credentials

  • Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity: Strongly preferred
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred if within last 10 years
  • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: If applicable
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required
