Certified Surgical Technician

Job Overview

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment type: LTA
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts
Setting: Outpatient surgical center
Work pattern: No weekends, call, holidays, or rotations

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CST or NBSTSA or NCCT

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Self-study orientation and attestation
Fit test for N95, completed within 365 days of start date and updated annually
Respirator Medical Clearance attestation, if fit testing is required for the skill
MMR documentation or proof of immunity
TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
Criminal background check
Massachusetts CORI check
Resume including the past 7 years of work experience
2 references within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
Confirmation of Assignment/POI form
Education verification
SSN trace
National sex offender check
