- Job Description:
Perform setup and execution of outpatient and inpatient EEGs as ordered and scheduled. Must be available for 24-hour on-call and weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- License:
Active professional license/certification for EEG Technician in the state of Louisiana. Primary source verification required within 30 days of start and must be kept current. - Certifications:
- Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T) certification from ASET required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required.
- Experience:

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

- Fit Test: N95 mask fit test (3M 1860, 1860s, or 1870+) within one year prior to start, updated annually.
- Eye Exam & Color Vision: Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within one year prior to start.
- Background & Screening:
- Criminal background check within 30 days prior to start including SSN trace, 7-year county criminal searches, national checks, and education/employment verification for last 5 years.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start.
- Documentation:
- Resume/profile required for submission.
- HRIS form required for submission.
- Badge photo (forward-facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG format).
- Signed health statement within one year confirming ability to work without restrictions.
- Contract annual education packet to be completed as required.
This position requires a highly compliant and credentialed EEG Technician prepared for inpatient and outpatient EEG procedures with on-call and weekend responsibilities.
