Job Description

  • Patient care in a step-down unit with ratios:
    • Step down: 3:1
    • Day shift: 5:1
    • Night shift: 7:1
  • Responsibilities include:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • Pushing, pulling, lifting
    • Medication administration
    • Patient assessments
    • Care plans
    • Effective communication and teamwork

Required Qualifications

Licensure

  • Valid New York RN license (State License Verification required within 30 days prior to start)

Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
