Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Middleburg, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement includes rotating nights, holidays, and weekends
• Typically 8-12 shifts per month depending on staffing
• Weekend and holiday work required based on schedule and staffing

Required Credentials

• RCIS certification or equivalent (Required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Preferred
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Professional resume/profile submission required
• Signed assignment agreement prior to start
• Verification of current license and primary source verification within 30 days before assignment
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics (minimum 80% passing score)
• Health and immunization documentation including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • TB testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA with annual updates; if positive, chest X-ray and questionnaire required
• Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and others within 30 days prior to start
• Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start, updated annually or after breaks in service
• Professional references (minimum two) required prior to first assignment
• Photo ID (driver’s license or state ID) matching address on file

Additional Information

• Skills checklist specific to Cath Lab Technician to be completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Health statement or physical exam confirming good health required prior to first assignment and updated annually
• Badge photo required for identification purposes
