Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp Position

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Work schedule: 4 days per week in outpatient clinic, 1 day per week in acute care.
• Opportunity to work 1-2 acute care weekends during the contract (Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM) is available but not mandatory.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility.
• EMR system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapist (PT) experience (work history/resume must reflect this).
• At least 1 year of previous PT experience required.
• Outpatient experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Valid Physical Therapist license.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract preferred.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
• Candidates may be asked to float within the discipline across local campuses.
• This position requires the ability to work some weekends if willing, which helps support the permanent team.
