Surgical Tech (Temp) - Madison, WI
Position Overview
- Role: Surgical Tech (Certified Surgical Technologist) for Labor & Delivery only
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Shift: Days
- Hours per Day: 12
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Workweek: 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
- Orientation dates available starting 6/22/2026 and 7/6/2026
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with current BLS certification
- National Surgical Tech Certificate (NCCT, NBSTSA, or equivalent)
- Previous OBGYN experience required
- Preferred: 3 years of CST Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply with rate adjustment)
- Not employed by this health system within the last 12 months
Documentation and Submission Requirements
- Work history/resume
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- License verification
- Copies of required certifications
- One supervisory reference at time of submission

- Night and weekend call-back and on-call pay multipliers apply (details not included)
- Facility trauma center levels vary by location within the region (levels 1 to 4)
