Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Overview

• Employment type: Temp
• Location: North Adams, Massachusetts
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day
• Schedule: Block schedule with 10/12-hour shifts. Shift accommodation requests will not be considered for this need.
• Holidays: Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must work one block if scheduled or needed: Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend.
• Orientation: Non-billable, 8 hours

Required Qualifications

• Three years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• CST or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Preceptor experience
• Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures
• Endoscopy technician experience

Other Requirements and Conditions

• Does not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Accepts no more than 5 days of RTO (less is better). All RTO must be included in the profile.
• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made at or after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer.
• May float to the Crane and Endo units at another facility campus when needed, approximately 21 miles away.
