Stepdown (Nights)

Overview

• Temp Registered Nurse (RN) role in New London, New Hampshire.
• 13-week assignment.
• Nights, 12-hour shifts.

Unit / Setting

• Stepdown / PCU.
• Patient ratio: up to 6:1.
• Support on shift includes 2 LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience.
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• Med Surg experience.
• Experience in Charge roles.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate.
• Skills Checklist Medical Surgical, current to 1 year.
• Skills Checklist Stepdown/PCU, current to 1 year.
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC EMR experience.
• Previous travel experience.

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• Block scheduling is not available.
• 48-hour guarantee is not available.
• Local travelers are not eligible.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• Requested time off must be included and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day / Friday after / weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day / weekend after
  • New Year Eve through New Year Day / weekend after
• Non-billable orientation: 0 hours.
• Call and call-back are not applicable.
