ICU RN for Respiratory Care Unit
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
- Float as needed.
- Holidays as needed.
- No block scheduling requests.
- High acuity stepdown unit with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, up to 4:1 depending on staffing.
- Travel pairs will not be considered.
- Locals are considered within a 60-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a Hospital setting
- Trauma experience
- Neurology experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge RN experience.
- SICU experience.
- MICU experience.
- Trauma experience.
- Stroke experience.
- Cerner experience.
Schedule Requirements
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays, including eve and day.
