Schedule and Float Scope

• Float position: may be floated to different ICU floors, or down to up to 100% of shifts.
• May be floated to lower-acuity units, including the Tele (Telemetry) floor.
• May be required to float to another facility in the system.
• Weekends will likely exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs; minimum is every other weekend.
• Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays.
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
• Block schedule: open to accommodating, at manager discretion.
• Guaranteed hours: the facility may call off once per two-week pay period.
• Not on-call.
• Pending license: not accepted.
• RTO (return-to-office) restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
• Critical Care Float experience: 1 year, completed within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
