Registered Nurse — Medical-Surgical/Telemetry

Overview

Travel/contract role in Greensboro, North Carolina
26-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Primary patient population is medical-surgical
Charge RN shifts may be required
Float required as needed across facilities

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

Manage a 1:6 patient ratio
Use of rapid response teams
Blood product administration
Peripheral line care management
Starting IVs
Administer heparin, insulin, and PCA
Nasal cannula support
Isolation precautions

Additional Notes

Must accept the 26-week assignment if offered
Must pass onboarding testing related to EKG and EPIC
Subject to floating across facilities if needed
