Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Anchorage, Alaska
- Acute hospital setting
- Care Management Social Work is a consult-based service supporting psychosocial/emotional needs, discharge planning, resource navigation, coordination of care, suicidality screening, safety planning, and reports of harm
- The social work team is split into Emergency Department, Children’s, and Adult teams
- The Children’s Hospital team supports pediatrics, PICU, NICU, and maternity units
- The Adult team focuses on inpatient units for patients over age 18
Required Qualifications
- Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in Alaska
- LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker (2 years of experience)
- LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Master's degree in social work
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Weekend coverage required every other weekend
- Locals not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending license accepted
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Start date: ASAP
- Shift: 5x8s or 4x10s
- Day shift, 8:00–16:30
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
- May be called off for 1 eighteen-hour shift per 2 weeks
