Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Jerseyville, Illinois
• Acute care hospital
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Unit details: 26-bed unit with average daily census of 8
• Ratios: 1:4–6
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Open to accommodating block schedule: No
• RTO must be discussed with manager in interview
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
• NIH Stroke Certification is required for RN/LPNs going to ER, MS/Tele, and ICU

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• NIHSS

• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: any, but no tee shirts, sweatshirts, or logos from other organizations
• Background check required within 1 year of start
• 2 professional references required within 3 years of start
• Fit mask required
• Drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• COVID vaccine, exemptions, and declinations are accepted
