Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (R)
Completion of a radiologic technology program

Preferred Experience

Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cases
Experience with sterile technique

Role Summary

Assists cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology studies, and radiofrequency ablations
Scrubs in as a sterile assistant, circulates, monitors procedures, and manages x-ray equipment
Monitors invasive cardiac waveforms, pressure gradients, vital signs, and EKG data
Orders and maintains supplies and troubleshoots equipment

Additional Notes

ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year if not already held
Valid government-issued photo ID is required on assignment
Two professional references are required
A 7-year criminal background check, fingerprinting, drug screen, physical exam, and immunization/documentation compliance are required before start
