Role Overview

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Candidates should submit any requested time off with the application
Two references are required, both from supervisors within the past 2 years
A skills checklist is required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
A physical exam is required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually
A negative TB test or chest X-ray is required within 1 year of start and must be updated annually
Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption documentation is required
Tdap vaccination is required within 10 years of start
Drug screening is required within 30 days of start
Background screening and education verification are required before start
A photo for badge use is required
Candidates must complete facility-specific onboarding documents before start
