Job Details

• Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Onboarding date: 9/30

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Iowa
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
• Experience with Epic
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Education verification through the traveler’s school or a third-party verification service for the highest level of education
• Diploma, or official transcript/third-party verification if diploma is unavailable
• 2 supervisory references from the specialty, with at least one within the last year and the second within the last 2 years
• 7 years of employment history or history back to college/technical school graduation, with no gaps greater than 30 days
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Work history verification for the last 7 years
• 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start
• Annual physical or statement of health within 1 year of assignment start
• Fit test within 12 months
• TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Tdap vaccination or declination
• Mandatory reporter certifications for child abuse and dependent adult abuse
• Background checks and sanctions/exclusion screenings within 30 days of start
• Color blind testing
• Competency exam
• Core competency exams Parts I, II, and III

Notes

• Learning lessons must be completed before start
• Online modules must be completed onsite until further notice
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption must be on file by 10/31 during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination is preferred only
