Required Qualifications
- Valid Virginia RN license
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- 2 references
- Complete application/resume
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify / I-9 attestation
- Criminal background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- Color blind testing
- Abuse reporting competency
- Physical exam within 1 year
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- TB screening and TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers; boosters required if titers are low
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Drug screen within 60 days of start
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption, depending on assignment dates and facility requirements
Orientation / Onboarding
- Pharmacology exam
- Point-of-care testing
- Airborne precaution mask fitting
- Unit modules during orientation, due by the Friday of orientation week

- Performance evaluation is not required before start
- No onsite renewals are offered for certifications
