ICU Float

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in ICU Float.
13-week assignment.
Shift is 3x12 day/night rotation as needed: 0700-1930 / 1900-0730.
Weekend rotation required.
No on-call.
Float required as needed across campuses; the role is a true full float position across CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, and CPMC Davies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (4 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Additional Notes

Travelers may be scheduled at a different campus for each shift.
Mid-shift floating is very rare.
Travelers are notified 2 hours before start time where to report.
