PT Outpatient

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • Adult neuro population with occasional more complex ortho patients.
  • Outpatient rehab setting focused on orthopedics, including post-op care, gait/balance, sprain/strain, and aquatic therapy.
  • PT and OT services are on site.
  • Schedule options accepted: 4x10 or 5x8.
  • All therapists work two nights per week until 8:00 PM.
  • No call, weekend, or float requirement.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire.
  • Physical Therapist (1 year of experience).
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
  • AROM/AAROM/PROM.
  • Assistive Devices.
  • Strength testing.
  • Skin integrity assessment.
  • Pain assessment.
  • E-stim.
  • TENS.
  • Ultrasound.
  • Lumbar Traction.
  • Cervical Traction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology.
  • Sport Medicine.
  • Identifying Environmental Barriers.
  • Hand injuries/tendinopathy.
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis.
  • Iontophoresis.
  • Phonophoresis.
  • Signs & Symptoms physical, sexual, psychological abuse.
  • Safety and injury prevention.
  • Lifting and Transfer.

Additional Notes

  • Aquatic experience is not required.
  • Travelers within 50 miles receive a lower rate.
  • Candidates cannot be considered if they have ever been a former employee at any facility associated with the health system.
