Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location

Jersey City, New Jersey

Employment Type

Travel/Contract

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift Details

Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
On call twice a week and every third weekend
Must work or be on call for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements

Job Description

Must be able to circulate; scrub experience preferred but not required
Types of cases include adult open heart and general cases when no hearts
Experience required in Main OR, Orthopedics, Vascular, General, Thoracic, and Neuro surgeries
Charting system used: EPIC
Scrubs provided
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum 1.5 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Orthopedic Surgery
Experience in Vascular Surgery
Experience in Thoracic Surgery
Experience in Neurology
