Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Experience in Interventional Radiology Technologist role within the last year
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only; certificates of completion not accepted; no lapse allowed during assignment)

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required as applicable (AHA only)
• PALS and NRP certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (AHA only)
• State licensure verification required (primary source online verification)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year background check within 30 days of start, renewed annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted)
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (N95 masks accepted); PAPR documentation if applicable
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters if negative/equivocal)
  • Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster if negative/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination required)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (no exemptions allowed)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; if past positive, clear chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire

Orientation & Facility Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation paperwork on first day
• Review and sign confidentiality agreement, code of conduct, conflict of interest disclosure, sexual harassment and misconduct policy attestation
• Completion of required Cornerstone training modules and attestation before signing
• Pass/fail competency testing (EKG/medication) required for certain units; study materials provided prior to start
• ID proofing process must be completed prior to assignment start
• Return facility ID badge and pagers at assignment end to avoid fees

References & Employment History

• Two recent professional references required (must be from managers or supervisors; charge RN references not accepted)
• Employment application required

• No prior travel experience required for this position

This role is ideal for Radiologic Technologists with at least 2 years of experience seeking a travel contract in interventional radiology with no call responsibilities and a structured day shift schedule.
