Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract) - Kentucky

Location

Hazard, Kentucky

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Setting

Labor and Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, and Nursery units
Acute care setting
Meditech EMR system

Schedule

Night shift options:
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Every other weekend required
Float within scope of practice required
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Typical schedule follows a 36/48 pay period cycle (36 hours worked, 48 hours off over two weeks)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Postpartum and Nursery units
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience with MEDITECH EMR system
Certifications:
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP
- NIHSS
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
