Job Description
- Perform routine nursing assignments and develop competence through structured work.
- Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including:
- Direct patient care
- Patient/family education
- Transitions of care
- Deliver holistic, individualized care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and manage interdisciplinary plans of care.
- Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers through effective communication.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, laws, and regulations to ensure a quality patient experience.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and development.
Required Certifications
- RN License (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (verify by position)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or ARC only (verify by position)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AHA/AAP only, must be Instructor or Advanced Provider Course (verify by position)
- CCRN (Critical Care RN) - verify by position
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - valid for 4 years (verify by position)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - typically required for Labor & Delivery (verify by position)
- State License Verification (primary source online verification within 30 days of start)
- NURSYS Verification (within 30 days of start)
