Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Blytheville, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Schedule:

• 1st week: 3 shifts of 12 hours (nights)
• 2nd week: 4 shifts of 12 hours (nights)
• Weekends: As needed in rotation
• Call: Not required
• Floating: As needed within scope

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Locals Allowed: Yes
• First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
• EMR System: Med Host
• Block Scheduling: Allowed

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or United States Department of Defense approved
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - As required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - As required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - As required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - As required
• State License Verification (Primary Source Verification)
• NURSYS Verification (for RNs)

Compliance & Documentation

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal
• Physical Exam: Initial and updated annually, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or Titers:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Documentation (medical/religious declination accepted)

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Core Parts I, II, III (for subcontractors)

Additional Notes

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations required
• Performance evaluations required if worked over 1 year with the system
• Skills checklist must be updated annually
• Workers Compensation Documentation required

This position offers block scheduling with night shifts and requires flexibility for floating within the scope of practice. Prior travel experience is not mandatory, and first-time travelers are welcome.
